Sheridan’s season comes to an end in the Convo

ATHENS, Ohio – A second half collapse lead to Sheridan’s season coming to an end Friday night in the district semi finals at the Convo Center.

The top seeded Generals had built up a 16 point halftime lead over Waverly. However, the Tigers outscored Sheridan 49-23 in quarters three and four to take the game and move to the district championship.

Ethan Heller was the leading scorer for Sheridan with 14 points before he fouled out in the fourth quarter.

The Generals finish the season with a record of 20-4. It’s just the third time in school history that they’ve reached the 20 win mark.
