‘Doggie Day:’ Freddy

Doggie

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- The Muskingum County Dog Warden and Adoption Center has a new fur-ever friend for you to meet.

Freddy is a mixed terrier. He was picked up as a stray in December. He is two years old and is great with kids and people.

“He’s very stocky. We always make fun of the way he walks, he walks like a big tough guy but, he’s the sweetest. He’s a big teddy bear,” said Deputy Dog Warden Brittany Calihan.

Calihan said even though he looks like a big tough dog he is just the friendliest dog. He loves to give kisses and is ready to be adopted immediately.

“He loves to get out here and play, but then he plays and he just wants to come up and sit with you and lick you and give you kisses. So, if you like doggies kisses, Fred is definitely the dog for you,” said Calihan.

Calihan said he doesn’t get along with cats. If you are interested in adopting Freddy, you can set up an interaction with him by calling the adoption center at 740-453-0273.
