Newark Man Sentenced in August Murder
A Newark man receives a sentence of 19 years to life in prison in connection with a murder last summer.
According to court documents, 34-year-old William Snyder appeared in Licking County Common Pleas Court Monday where he pleaded guilty to aggravated murder, murder and aggravated burglary.
Snyder was arrested along with four co-defendents last August in connection with the stabbing death of 25-year-old John Stouffer.
Earlier this month , Beth Doty was sentenced to 20 years in prison in connection with Stouffer’s death.
Other co-defendents sentenced in Stouffer’s murder include Jason Stone who recieved a 25 year to life sentence and Nicholas Wallace who was sentenced to 18 years to life in prison .
Another co-defendent in the case ,46-year-old William Withem, has yet to go on trial.
