COLUMBUS, Ohio – Here’s everything that you need to know about Meadowbrook’s DII state semi-final game with Trotwood-Madison.

WHEN: Fri. March 23 at 10:45 a.m.

WHERE: Value City Arena in Columbus, Ohio.

MEADOWBROOK’S ROAD TO THE FINAL FOUR: Meadowbrook has a record of 22-6. They finished as runner up in the ECOL and won the OVAC tournament for the third year in a row. They have played some very close tournament games to get to Columbus, including a 36-31 win over John Glenn in the regional championship game.

TROTWOOD-MADISON’S ROAD TO THE FINAL FOUR: The Rams are 25-3 overall and finished ranked 5th in the final AP poll. They’ve have had some big blows out so far in tournament play. The boys from Montgomery County have had running clocks in three of their post season games. Their closest tournament game was their ten point win over Hughes in the regional title game.

HISTORY: For Meadowbrook this is their first ever trip to the state final four. The Rams are making their fourth all time trip to Columbus. They made it last year as well, falling in the state final four to Akron St. Vincent-St. Mary.

TOP PLAYERS: Both teams had a player each make first team all-Ohio in DII. Meadowbrook’s Trey Singleton was also the East District co-player of the year and averaged almost 25 points per game. Trotwood-Madison’s 6’4″ senior Myles Belyeu was also first team all-Ohio and averaged just over 25 points a contest.

TV BROADCAST: All state tournament games are broadcasted on the Spectrum Sports Channel. WHIZ-TV will have highlights and reaction on the Friday news.
