Ronald M. Hardy, 77, of Zanesville, died March 21, 2018 at The Oaks at Northpointe after a lengthy illness. Mr. Hardy retired from Bethesda Hospital after 32 years as materials manager. He later worked at Berger Hospital in Circleville as purchasing director, retiring in 2004. He was a graduate of New Lexington High School and Franklin University. He served his country in the United States Navy from 1958 to 1962.

He is survived by his wife Christine (Chalfant) Hardy. One daughter Michelle Burris of Pickerington. Step-children Jeff Dennis, Leslie Sturgill, and Debbie (Chad) McLoughlin, all of Zanesville. Grandchildren Donald Burris and Emily Burris of Pickerington. One sister Pat (Robert) Coulas of Dublin.

He was preceded in death by his parents Carl Hardy and Ila Hardy Fauley.

William Thompson & Son Funeral Home in White Cottage is assisting the family. Per Mr. Hardy’s wishes, a private service will be  held at a later date, with interment of cremains in Rose Hill Cemetery.

The family would like to extend thanks to Interim Hospice for all their care and support during Mr. Hardy’s illness.
