Muskingum softball off to red hot start

NEW CONCORD, Ohio – The Muskingum softball team is off to about as good of a start as you could hope for.

The Muskies won their first 11 games of the season and went 11-1 overall during their trip the the Sunshine State. They followed that up by returning to Ohio and sweeping Thomas Moore and Wilmington.

They entered Monday’s home doubleheader with Denison with an overall record of 15-1. They took down the Big Red in game one 4-2 and fell in the second game 5-3.

The Muskies are back in action Friday when they host Otterbein in a home conference game.
