Mr.

Richard Lee Eck, 83, of Chandlersville, passed away  Monday March 26, 2018 at his home. He was born on Jan. 25, 1935 a son of the late Earhardt and Bula (Lyons) Eck. He was a member of Chandlersville United Methodist Church.  He was a member of the Muskingum County Farm Bureau and a former member of Chandlersville and Carlwick Grange. He graduated from Chandlersville High School. He was a lifetime dairy farmer.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years Yvonne (Spencer) Eck. One son David (Jenny) Eck. One daughter Deborah (Jason) Tom. Grandchildren Dalton Eck, Wyatt Tom, Allison Tom, Megan Tom, and Dallas Eck. Three sisters Florence (Charles) Klein, Martha (Kinsey) Tanner, and Beverly Eck.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother James L. Eck and two sisters Evelyn Mock and Marjorie Schell.

Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m Friday March 30, 2018 at WILLIAM THOMPSON & SON FUNERAL HOME 5765 Gladstone Drive White Cottage. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday March 31, 2018 at Chandlersville United Methodist Church where friends may call one hour prior to the service. Pastors Gordon Ferguson and Gary Fitzgerald officiating. Burial will be in Chandlersville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Chandlersville United Methodist Church.
