Drug indictments in Perry County

NEW LEXINGTON, Ohio–The Perry County Sheriff’s Office announced Monday the indictments of three individuals on felony drug charges.
35-year-old Robert Walker III was indicted on multiple charges including aggravated trafficking in methamphetamine, aggravated possession of meth with a forfeiture specification, and aggravated possession of heroin.
Authorities said Walker was arrested on February 9, 2018 after detectives searched a residence in New Lexington where they discovered bulk quantities of meth, currency and scales. He is being held in the Southeast Ohio Regional Jail on a $75,000 bond.
40-year-old Joshua Clark was indicted on several drug charges including aggravated trafficking in meth, illegal manufacturing of meth and trafficking in heroin with a school and forfeiture specification.
Authorities arrested Clark on March 16, 2018 after a search of his residence on West Water Street in New Lexington. Detectives seized meth along with fentanyl laced heroin, cash and drug packaging equipment. Clark is being held in the Southeast Ohio Regional Jail on a $75,000 bond.
29 -year-old Richard Maurer was indicted on multiple charges including one count of trafficking in heroin, one count of possession of heroin, one count of aggravated trafficking in meth and aggravated possession of meth.
Authorities said the charges stem from a traffic stop on January 23, 2018 where deputies seized heroin and meth.
Maurer is being held in the Muskingum County Jail in connection to a major local drug trafficking investigation.
