Bowl For Kids Sake 2018

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- Teams are forming for the 2018 Bowl For Kids Sake put on by Big Brothers Big Sisters of Zanesville.

Executive Director Jenni Masterson says it’s not too late to join a team and help raise funds that will benefit children in the local community.

“Bowl for kids sake is coming up next week and there is still time for people to get their teams registered if they just want to go online or give us a call. Bowl for kids sake is our largest fundraiser of the year. All of the money goes and stays right here in our community and it supports all of our matches throughout the year. We have kids in our community based programs and in our school based programs and all of them just need a big caring friend and a mentor,” said  Masterson.

Masterson says you don’t have to be the perfect bowler. Their overall goal is to have fun while raising money for a great cause.

“You really don’t have to know how to bowl, that is not the goal here. The goal here is just to have fun and raise money. We have a DJ out there that’s playing games, we have gutter ball fun, we have a lot of door prices, and we have raffle tickets here in the office that people can sell to meet their hundred dollar goal or their also online and people can download them online. So we just really hope everyone will come and join us to celebrate what we do in the community to celebrate our bigs and littles and also to help us raise money to get more bigs and littles together,” said Masterson.

The event is set to take place on April 18th, 19th and 20th at Sunrise Strikes Bowling Lanes.
