Dutro Ford hosts “Drive 4 UR Community”
ZANESVILLE – Ohio Dutro Ford is partnering with the United Way of Muksingum, Perry, and Morgan counties to host the “Drive 4 UR Community” event.
Katie McNeil from United Way wants to invite everyone to come out tomorrow and test drive a car to help support the work they do in the community.
“United way fights for health, education, and financial stability of everyone and every community we serve,” said McNeil “And so this partnership helps us generate some more community investment, so that we can continue to do that.”
Sales manager Jerry Brown said that after months of planning and working with various volunteers and donors they are hoping this year will be the largest turnout yet.
“Our goal is 300 test drivers,” said Brown “It’d be great to have even more than that. Hopefully we can change that goal in Ford’s eyes and so forth that we can have greater than 300 test drivers to show the turnout for the community as well as the effort we put in”
The “Drive 4 UR Community” event will be held at Dutro’s Downtown location on Saturday from 9 A.M. to 5 P.M. There will also be food, music, and a chance to win a flat screen TV.
