Zanesville Annual Soroptimist Style Show 2018

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- The Zanesville chapter of an international organization held their annual style show fundraiser.
Saturday many women of all ages gathered for the Zanesville Annual Soroptimis Style Show fundraiser held at First Christian Church.
“We’re having our annual style show for soroptimist and it’s been going on about twenty years. This seems to be the most exciting thing that we are doing right now. We have a style show and we’re going to have John Glenn strings play. They’re going to play while we’re eating. We have a silent auction, gulf tickets, we have a beautiful buffet and it’s really a nice time to get together and socialize,” said Lynn McGlade.
Leader of the fundraiser committee, Joyce Haddox said they’re extremely proud of all of the support they’ve received and how their attendance has grown in numbers.
“We have a number of fundraisers throughout the year and this is one of our big ones. It’s gone on for about twenty years but we’ve been here at the church probably for seven or eight years. Our attendance has steadily risen and we’re real proud to have all of these people that support us,” said Haddox.
Proceeds raised from the event will help benefit local community projects as well as victims of hum trafficking worldwide.
