Pet of the Week: Bubbles

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- If you are looking to add a fluffy little kitten to your family, The Animal Shelter Society has the purr-fect pet for you.

Bubbles is an 8-week-old domestic shorthair cat. She and her two sisters, who are also available for adoption, are named after the Powerpuff Girls. Director, Jody Murray said Bubbles adoption fee is $70 and she is very playful and loving.

“She’s going to do well at this age with any family that just gives her love and attention. She’s going to give that right back. Come in and spend some time with her,” said Murray.

The shelter also wants to remind you of its annual Summer Jam on June 2nd. Murray said there will be the traditional staples there such as a photo booth, dancing, and a dog kissing booth. He said there will be something new this year as well.

“This year, free admission. So, come bring your family. We want this to be a family event. So, we decided there will be no admission (cost.) Come out, bring your family,” said Murray.
