ZANESVILLE, Ohio- A longtime resident of the Muskingum County Dog Warden and Adoption Center is looking for a new place to call home.

Meet Harrison. He’s a three-year-old terrier mix. He likes to chill out and take it easy. He’s a bit dog selective, loves people, but more than anything loves food.

“He does not want to leave at 4:00 because he knows he’s about to get fed. He’ll actually try to pull himself back inside. So he likes to eat and he knows when it’s feeding time,” said Deputy Dog Warden Brittany Calihan.

Harrison has been at the center for a while so they are running a special this month for him and another longtime resident.

“He’s been with us since the beginning of November and he is currently the second longest dog we have, but the longest dog we’ve had at the facility. He’s been here the longest right now,” said Calihan.

Harrison and Bentley both have reduced adoption fees of $55 plus their dog tags. Both are up to date on their shots and have had their surgeries. If you are interested in one of them you can contact the Adoption Center at (740) 453-0273.
