Philo, Sheridan split softball and baseball games

DUNCAN FALLS, Ohio – The Sheridan softball and baseball teams both headed over to Muskingum County to take on Philo.

The baseball game saw the high-scoring Generals fall behind by seven runs early. However, Coach Doug Fisher’s team stormed back to win 16-8. Hunter Hardy had 8 RBI in the win, which ties a school record. Sheridan is now 12-6 on the season.

The softball game featured less offense. Sheridan jumped out to an early 2-0 lead but Philo came back to tie the game in the seventh to force extra innings. The Electrics then won in the bottom of the ninth inning, winning 6-5.
