ZPD investigates fatal accident on Adair Avenue

ZANESVILLE,Ohio–The Zanesville Police Department  is investigating a fatal accident that occurred Friday evening on Adair Avenue.

Sgt. Kyle Brookover said shortly after 6 p.m. the driver of a Pontiac was heading west on Adair Avenue when he suffered a medical episode. Brookover said the driver went past Linden Avenue and struck a pedestrian who was not injured.

Brookover said the driver then went across the median and collided with a White GMC truck headed east on Adair Avenue.

Brookover said the accident remains under investigation.
