Ohio Governor candidate stops in Zanesville on Election Day

ZANESVILLE, Ohio-One Republican politician, who is running for Ohio Governor, made her final stop in Zanesville.
Lt. Governor Mary Taylor brought “Mary Taylor Made Tough Tour” to a conclusion at Giacomo’s Bread and More. She said the tour included over 170 events in 71 counties since March 2nd.
“I live North, just straight up 77 and so typically at least the last three election days I have travelled 77/70 after I vote in the morning in my hometown. Then it’s always just great top stop in Zanesville. It’s about halfway between where I live and Columbus. It’s just a great place to stop and such an important part of our state,” said Taylor.
Taylor said stopping at places such as Giacomo’s, allows people to see and ask her questions even on election day.
“Somebody walked up to me and said, ‘I’m voting for you, I just want you to know that.’ And so it’s good. There were still undecided voters coming in today. To the extend that we can continue to reach out to voters and talk to them and make that connection and answer questions, that’s good for us,” said Taylor.
Taylor is facing Mike DeWine in the primary election. The polls close at 7:30 P.M.
