Doggie Day: Patrick

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- If you’re looking for a playful pooch to add to your family we have the perfect one for you.
Patrick is a 2-year-old terrier mix. He’s a stray that’s been at the Muskingum County Dog Warden and Adoption Center since February. Deputy Dog Warden Brittany Calihan said Patrick is a fun loving, laid dog.
“He is very young still. He likes to play. He loves toys. You can see now he’s just chewing on the toys. He likes the play area. He’s a very easy walker,” said Calihan. “The volunteers and I have noticed that when you take him for a walk he’s very easy to walk for as young as he is.”
Calihan said Patrick plays well with other dogs and appears to do well with kids. She said he has a cute feature and enjoys chilling out.
“He’s got the cutest ears. Hopefully you can get it. When he sits up they just hang over. The cutest little ear,” said Calihan. “If he’s not outside playing he’s just curled up in a ball sleeping on his bed. It’s the cutest picture. I mean he just loves that bed.”
Patrick is up to date on his shots and has already has his surgery so he is ready to go home. His adoption fee is $105 plus his dog license. If you are interested in meeting Patrick you can call the Adoption Center at (740) 453-0273.
