Balderson Wins Twice

Troy Balderson was a winner Tuesday night, twice. The 12th district congressional candidate from Zanesville beat Melanie Leneghan in the race to take part in a special election in August to fill the unexpired term of Pat Tiberi. Balderson got 19,811 votes and Leneghan received 19,159 votes. In the other 12th district race to run for a full term in the 12th district in 2019 was also won by Balderson. He again beat Leneghan by just over 770 votes.  There were nine candidates running in the republican primary in the 12th district. The results are final but unofficial.
