Suspect in Custody in Roseville Shooting

Muskingum County Sheriff Matt Lutz says he is investigating a shooting in Roseville. It happened Tuesday night at 7790 Ransbottom Road just after 9:00 p.m. Lutz says a male was shot in the leg and hip area and was transported to Genesis Hospital for surgery. The Sheriff says the injury is not life threatening. One male was taken into custody and is believed to be the suspect from the shooting incident. His name was not released.   Anyone with information about the shooting is urged to call the Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office at 740 452-3637, extension 6026.
