Hello! My Baby at the Renner Theatre

Rennter Play

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- The musical, “Hello! My Baby”, had its closing show at the Renner Theatre.

The setting of the play takes place in the early 1900’s. It is centered around Mickey, who is trying to become a musical star. The play’s director said he chose to direct Hello! My Baby because it was love at the first listen.

“We got a sample CD and listened to it and was immediately smitten with the music. It’s just great fun. Every once and a while it’s nice to do a show where the audience and the cast both have a good time,” said Director Bruce Revennaugh.

He said this play will stick with him because of all the incredible memories along the way.

“There’s one section where there’s a cartoon type fight. It’s a dance fight. It is just hysterical. I think that’s probably one of my favorite spots in all the show,” said Revennaugh.

If you are interested in joining the theatre, there will be auditions for Man of La Mancha on May 20, 21 at the Renner.
