Sheridan’s tourney run ends in Athens

ATHENS, Ohio – A terrific season for the Sheridan Lady General softball team came to an end Thursday at Ohio University.

Top seeded Sheridan and Fairfield Union both struggled to get any sort of offense going in the district title game. The Falcons pushed across their first run in the third inning and it proved to be the game’s only run.

Sheridan finishes the season with an overall record of 22-7.
