Fatal Car Fire Cause Undetermined
The State Fire Marshal’s Office has ruled the cause of a fatal vehicle fire in Perry County last month as undetermined.
Public Information Officer Shane Cartmill says after an extensive on scene investigation and more than 20 interviews, the investigation could not pinpoint an exact cause for the May 15th fire.
The fire claimed the life of a 44 year old Roseville man who was found inside a burned out car near Whitehouse Street in Crooksville.
Cartmill says information provided to the State Fire Marshal’s Office from the coroner indicated there were no signs of trauma to the victim prior to the fire.
