Minor Injuries in Coshocton Co. Accident

A West Lafayette man suffers only minor injuries in a Tuesday afternoon accident.

The State Highway Patrol says the two vehicle crash took place at the intersections of State Routes 16 and 83 near Oden Valley around 1pm.

Troopers report taht 23-year-old Corey Brandon of Newcomerstown was traveling west on State Route 16 and was stopped to turn into a driveway when his vehicle was struck by 19-year-old Mark Tidwell Jr of West Lafayette.

Brandon and his passenger 50-year-old Ricky McMullen weren’t injured.

Tidwell Junior sustained minor injuries and was taken to Coshocton Memorial Hospital.

His passenger 17-year-old Matthew Tidwell wasn’t injured.

Mark Tidwell was cited with improper passing.
