Two Women Escape Abduction

Two women were reportedly found unharmed Saturday after reportedly being abducted from a Columbus neighborhood.

According to the Newark Advocate the two women, one 17 and the other 22, told police they were forced into a vehicle at gunpoint by two black males.

Later that day the vehicle stopped at a gas station in Buckeye Lake, where the women went inside to use the restroom. They alerted the clerk, who called police.

According to the Advocate, the two men can be seen on the station’s security video, trying to get into the locked restroom where the women were hiding.

The women reported the men, who fled the scene, were driving them to West Virginia to use them for prostitution.

The case remains under investigation.
