Beach Boys hit the stage

One of America’s biggest bands, The Beach Boys surfed their way to Zanesville to rock out at the fair.
Fans young and old were there to cheer them on. Although there were a few empty seats, fans didn’t seem to mind, dancing up a storm when the Boys performed Surfing USA, as beach balls were tossed on top of the crowd.
The Beach Boys are often considered America’s band, creating the ultimate summer soundtrack with hits like Kokomo and California Girls.
The group formed in 1961. They have 36 hits in the US Top 40. They were inducted into the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame in 1988, and won the Life Time Achievement Grammy in 2001.
