Certifying November Ballot

The Muskingum County Board of Elections Director Chris Hamill says items on this year’s November ballot will be finalized soon.

“The Board will approve anything that will go on the ballot, and if there’s any discrepancies, then it will be discussed at that time, ” says Hamill.

Here’s some of the main items you can count on seeing.

“We have the City Council members. We also will have items in the township, which will be the trustees. Your villages do have the council members, who will be on the ballot. There will also be your school board. We also have some tax levies and a bond issue that will also be on the ballot,” says Hamill.

If you were looking to add an issue to the November ballot, Hamill says you’re a little late. The final date to file was last Thursday at four p.m.
