Crash Leaves Caldwell Woman Dead
A 57-year-old Caldwell woman is dead after a one-car accident yesterday afternoon.
It happened just after 2:30 p.m. near the Byesville exit on Interstate 77.
The Cambridge Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol says Joann Glidden was traveling southbound in a jeep when she traveled off the right side of the road, went down an embankment, and struck two trees.
The car did catch fire.
The Byesville Fire Department was called to the scene.
The Cambridge Post says the accident remains under investigation.
