2 Car Accident Sends 4 to Hospital

The Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office says a two car accident sends four people to the hospital.

It happened on County Road 16 Thursday afternoon.

The Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office says a vehicle was traveling westbound on County Road 16 and was slowing to turn left into a driveway when it was struck from behind, forcing the car into a tree. It says the second vehicle went off the right side of the road into a cornfield.

The Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office says four people were transported to Coshocton Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The accident caused County Road 16 to close for awhile.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
