ZHS QB Club Welcomes Archie Griffin

Wednesday Night at the Muskingum County Fairgrounds Veterans Building, as part of their first annual Past Presidents Kickoff Dinner, the Zanesville High School Quarterback Club welcomed the only two time Heisman Trophy winner Ohio State’s Archie Griffin.

Griffin was the keynote speaker at the event, hitting topics ranging from his playing days as a professional, the people that inspired him in his life, particularly his parents, a junior high guidance counselor, and both his High School and College Head Coaches. Griffin’s message to the almost 300 in attendance: live a life that will inspire others.

At the end of his speech, Griffin took questions about OSU quarterback terelle Pryor, Michigan State Head Football Coach Mark Dantonio, OSU assistant coaches, and the University of Michigan.
