Party Promotes Family Fun

The smell of funnel cakes and barbecue ribs is in the air downtown.

The Party On The Block located behind the Muskingum County Welcome Center offered some good, old family fun. Sweet festival foods and over 30 vendors drew people to the event.

“We brought my niece here today to come and see everything and we heard about it through some friends so we decided to come and check everything out,” says Kim Reilly.

Reilly’s niece, Christina Littick, enjoyed a pony ride around the parking lot.

“She (Christina Littick) likes it so far, she loves the animals so she is excited about seeing the animals,” tells Reilly.

This was the first year for the party on the block, but organizers say they hope to have it again next year.
