Licking County Road Closure

Some Licking County residents traveling in Newark are going to need a detour for as ODOT crews work on a project funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.

Buena Vista Street will be closed from eight a.m. to three p.m. for about a week so that crews can work on the overhead bridge.

Alternate routes for drivers include: State Route 13, North Front Street, Cedar Street, or Oakwood Avenue.

The closure is part of the State Route 16/State Route 97 Improvement Project.
