Portion of West Pike Closed Due to Accident

Authorities have closed the westbound lanes of U.S. 40 near the  McDonald’s restaurant due to a two vehicle accident.

The accident was reported around 12:30 Tuesday afternoon.

Authorities expect to have the roadway closed for at least a half hour.
