Meet the Candidates

Eight Republican candidates have their eye on the office of Representative for the 18th US Congressional District of Ohio. The office currently held by Zack Space.

Thursday night in Elson Hall at the Ohio University of Zanesville campus, the candidates took questions and told an audience of around 200 people where they stand on the issues.

"I think what the candidates are going to have to demonstrate and do demonstrate because this is our third candidate night, is what is their talents and their abilities and knowledge constitutionally to bring us back to a republic our founding fathers had," says Kay Clymer with the Zanesville Patriots and Ohio Liberty Council.

Clymer says she hopes meetings like these will help the audience make an informed decision when they have to cast their ballot in November. The final candidates night will be April 22nd in Dover/New Philadelphia. WHIZ will air testimonials from each of the candidates throughout next week.
