3rd Annual Mystery Dinner
The Salvation Army is hosting its third annual Mystery Dinner this Friday.
Before dinner they will be hosting a silent auction. Salvation Army Office Assistant Mindy McCloy said they have a ton of great baskets to auction off. Even the employees want to place a bid.
"It’s funny because once we get the baskets made up a lot of the employees will come in and look at the baskets and say oh I love that basket I want to bid on that basket and once you see them they are really some very nice baskets," McCloy said.
After the bidding is over you’ll get to see the Zanesville Community Theater perform a play "Reunion at Hippie High." Shelter Manager Karen Walker said it’s a great thing for the community to come and enjoy all while helping the kids in our area. Plus Walker said it’s going to be a blast.
"We’re going to wear hippie clothes so if you’re from the 60’s and the 70’s you know what I’m talking about come as a hippie or come in dressed up like you normally do but we’re going to have a lot of fun," Walker said.
The Mystery Dinner is Friday May 7th at 6pm. Tickets are $30 for a single and $50 for a couple. For more information on how to make a donation or get tickets call 452-8350.
