Newark Man Injured in 1 Car Accident

A Newark man is taken by MedFlight to Grant Medical Center in Columbus after an accident on Marne Road.

It happened around seven p.m. about a mile east of State Route 146.

Trooper Bryan Lee says 44-year-old Darren Davis was traveling east when he went off the right side of the road before coming back onto the roadway. He says Davis proceeded to overcorrect, go off the right side of the road again, struck a post, and overturn the pick-up truck onto its left side.

Lee says Davis’ injuries were non life-threatening but his condition is not known at this time.
