East Pike Accident Send Three to Hospital
Three people are taken to Good Samaritan Hospital after an accident on the East Pike.
It happened around 5:15 p.m. in front of the Do-It Center.
Zanesville Post Sergeant Jeremy Mendenhall of the State Highway Patrol says a black van driven by 44-year-old Eric Culp of Zanesville was attempting to turn out of the Do-It Center when it struck the red Dodge Stratus, traveling west on the East Pike driven by Amanda Prindle of Zanesville.
Sgt. Mendenhall says Eric Culp and his passenger 59-year-old Teresa Culp of Zanesville were transported to Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital.
Amanda Prindle was uninjured. Her passenger 17-year-old Alyssa Lyons was taken to Good Samaritan.
Mendenhall says that Culp was cited for failure to yield from a private drive.
