Boat Goes Over Dam on River

A dangerous situation on the Muskingum River around 4:45 Friday afternoon.

A man was at the dock at Terry’s Tavern when his pontoon boat ran out of gas and went over the dam. The boat landed upright and the man was not injured.

The Zanesville Fire Department secured the boat at Putnam Landing Park.
