Van Driver of I-70 Crash Released
A Maryland woman involved in a deadly accident on Interstate 70 Wednesday is released from the hospital.
A Grant Medical Center spokesperson says 39-year-old Anna Geist was discharged earlier in the day. She was initially taken to the hospital in serious condition after a car, driven by 23-year-old Tiffany Irwin of Zanesville, crossed the median and struck Geist’s van head-on.
Her son-a passenger in the van-was uninjured in the crash but was taken to Nationwide Children’s Hospital for observation.
Irwin, her two children, her mother, and her uncle all were pronounced dead at the scene.
