Mark Twain Family Fun Day Cancelled

A family event planned at Blue Rock State Park this weekend is cancelled due to a blue green algae found on the Lake.
 

According to the Park’s website, visitors should avoid contact with surface scum, limit their contact with the water and avoid ingesting lake water while the situation is investigated.
 

While visitors to the park still have access to existing wash rooms and liquid sanitizer dispensers, the Mark Twain Family Fun Day on Saturday has been cancelled.
 

Blue Rock State Park is located on Cutler Lake Road.
