S.R.83 in Guernsey County Closing for Two Weeks

The Ohio Department of Transportation announced Tuesday that State Route 83 in Guernsey County will be closing for a slip repair.

Officials say work will begin Tuesday, September 28 on State Route 83 at the 4.3 mile marker, 3 miles South of State Route 313.

ODOT says weather permitting S.R. 83 will re-open Tuesday October 12.

The suggested detour is State Route 313 to State Route 146 to State Route 83.

ODOT reminds motorists to slow down for the "Cone Zone" ,turn on headlights and drive carefully in work zones.
