Pet of the Week: Hudson and Hamilton

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – The Animal Shelter Society is always looking for forever homes and families for their animals.
This week, they showed us Hudson and Hamilton. Two kittens who are siblings. Hudson and Hamilton have spent some time in foster care, but came to the shelter in August. The adoption fee for one is thirty one dollars. The shelter would love for a family to adopt both and keep them together, the other kitten would be ten dollars. Both kittens are neutered and up to date on their shots. Executive Director of Animal Shelter Society, Jody Murray, says they are great family cats.
“As you can see they’re very social, very friendly. Like to be held, and we have them up for adoption,” said Murray.
The shelter is also holding their “Paws and Claws Benefit” on Saturday October 27th. This the largest fundraiser of the year for the shelter, and they encourage people to come out and participate. There will be an auction at 7pm, Murray says this is a good way to support the shelter.
“We are a non profit, and this is our biggest fundraiser of the year so come out and have a great evening,” Murray mentioned.
They still accepting donations for the silent and live auctions. Tickets are 25 dollars and are available to purchase at the Animal Shelter Society.
