Linden Avenue Car Accident Update

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – Zanesville Police and Fire Departments responded to Linden Avenue after they received a call of a car accident into a pole.

The accident happened around 11:15 a.m. near 1648 Linden Avenue. Zanesville Assistant Fire Chief, Jeff Bell, said all parties involved in the accident were out of the vehicle when police and fire departments arrived on scene. Three inviduals were checked out by ValueCare and were released. Bell also said the Fire Department’s goal right now is public safety around the area.

“They’ll handle that side. We’re just handeling the public safety side right now. Keeping everybody back from the power lines, til we can get the power cut from it and get the poles replaced,” said Bell.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
