Thomas “Tom” R. DeCaro

Thomas “Tom” R. DeCaro, 64 of Zanesville, died 6:05 AM, Sunday, November 11, 2018, at Adams Lane Care Center. He was born Wednesday, February 17, 1954, in Zanesville, the son of Tony T. DeCaro and Ruth Ann (Spires) DeCaro and married Benita R. (Brown) DeCaro on Friday, September 2, 1977.

Tom was a Material’s Handler for United Technologies for many years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, mushroom hunting and Paw Paw hunting. Following his disability, Tom began making fishing lures, specifically hand tied flies.

Tom is survived by his wife: Benita DeCaro; one brother: Robert DeCaro and Barbara Woods; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents, one sister-in-law: Marjorie DeCaro and one brother-in-law: Don Woods.

Friends may call from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Friday, November 16, 2018, at the Hillis, Combs & Nestor Funeral Home, 935 Forest Avenue, Zanesville, where funeral services will follow at 1:00 PM, with Rev.
