Royal D. “Junior” Border Jr.

ZANESVILLE

Royal Delmas “Junior” Border Jr., 70 passed away Sunday, November 18, 2018 after a brief illness. He was born December 21, 1947 in Muskingum County to the late Royal D. and Julia Evanac Border Sr. Junior retired as a truck driver for Ace Truck. He enjoyed hunting, trap shooting, his cat Princess, his donkey’s and his yearly fishing trip to Louisiana with his brother. He served our country and protected our freedom in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. His love was his family.

He is survived by the love of his life, his wife of 52 years Christine Ault Border; two daughters: Kristy (Brent) Huffman and Vicki (Dustin) St. Clair; a brother Rick (Debbie) Border of Covington, LA; four grandchildren: Brenton Huffman, Braylon Huffman, Davin St. Clair and Vada St. Clair and his step mother Gloria Border.

Memorial contributions may be made to Central Ohio Hospice, 2269 Cherry Valley Road SE, Newark, OH 43055.

Private services will be held at a later date.
