ZANESVILLE, Ohio – It’s Saturday, so another opportunity for locals to check out the farmers market that has been extended into December and is now indoors.

The Farmer’s Market teamed up with Weasel Boy Brewery to create an indoor Farmers Market at the brewery. One local vendor, Susan Hittle, was at the market selling chicken and eggs from the farm Hittle Farms. Hittle Farms typically offers customers eggs, chicken, and fresh produce.

“We were very excited that this was starting because this has been a good outlet to continue and to kind of bring in a different group of people and sell our products. Get them acquainted with us, it’s just been very exciting,” said Hittle.

On small business Saturday, today was a perfect day to exercise shopping local.

“Buy local, that’s a big thing with us. It’s just a good way to network, meet people, get them familiar with your product. Once again, I can’t stress enough buying local is so important,” Hittle added.

The indoor Farmers Market will last until December 15th at the Weasel Boy Brewery.
