Ridge Avenue Fire Investigated

The Zanesville Fire Department is investigating an early Tuesday morning fire. It happened just after 1:30 am at 1712 Ridge Avenue. Chief Jeff Bell says three fire engines and a ladder truck responded to the scene to find fire coming out of all four sides of the structure. Bell says his crews remained on the scene until 5:00 am. The structure is considered a total loss. Bell says it was uninhabited, but was being rehabbed by its owners. The cause of the fire is undetermined. The South Zanesville Fire Department assisted on the scene. There were no injuries reported.
