Ongoing Zanesville Police Homicide Investigation

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – At 3:21 this morning the Zanesville Police Department responded to a report of a disturbance.

Captain Scott Comstock with the Zanesville Police Department said officers were called to 609 Pershing Road and upon their arrival, they located a deceased 21-year-old female.

“Looked like it was from a gunshot wound. There were witnesses that are actively being interviewed and the matter remains under investigation currently,” Captain Comstock said.

There have been no suspects determined at this time but the incident is still currently being investigated. We will continue to follow this investigation and bring you more information as soon as we get it.
