Apartment Fire

A scary Friday morning for residents at an apartment complex on Brookside Drive.

Just before 3:30 crews from Zanesville, Perry and Washington Townships were called to 2986 Brookside Drive on the call of a fire with possible entrapments.

Upon arrival fire crews were able to search the apartments within the building and get everyone to safety.

The situation was contained within a half hour.

Washington Township is in charge of the fire investigation. The State Fire Marshal’s Office has been called.
