4th Annual Dodgeball Tournament

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – The Muskingum County Recreation Center is getting ready to host their 4th Annual Dodgeball Tournament.
The event is on Thursday, February 21 at 5:30 p.m. If you are interested in forming a team, pick up the registration form at the rec center and fill out the information for each member.
Event and Program Manager Becky Weir said, “Six to eight players on a team. Six people will be playing on the dodgeball court at one time and two people in the back will be retrieving balls and then you can sub those people in and out.”
Each year there are more and more teams that join, the goal for the 2019 Dodgeball tournament is 30 teams. The Muskingum Recreation Center is partnered with the United Way of MPM which includes programs such as the Pulmonary Rehab Program and the Healthy Outcomes Program.
“All the proceeds go to United Way. We have a nice fun prize, we’re not going to tell what it is. It’s just a prize for the team that raises the most money and then again all of the proceeds go towards United Way for their programs that they run,” Weir said.
All teams should be registered and all money should be turned in by Tuesday, February 19th.
