Sheridan wins MVL wrestling title

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- The Sheridan Generals win the MVL title after sending 8 wrestlers to the final round. Tri-Valley was in second after the wrestlebacks but, New Lex was able to take over second place thanks to three finals wins including a pin by Blake Sheppard.

The coveted Most Outstanding Wrestler award went to West Muskingum’s junior Carter Winegardner, who won the his weight class after a late take down (3-2.)

The fastest match of the finals went to stand out Sheirdan senior Owen Loughman who dominated from the word go, before get the pin with 12 second left in the opening period.
